Cooking and baking have been loves of
mine for as long as I can remember. I can still recall the first
instruction of the first recipe my mother taught me when I was seven
years-old. From there, my repertoire grew.
As I got older, I became food conscious
and grew into food allergies, cooking and baking became more central
in my life. Along this same parallel time line, I discovered friends
and family who share my love of food, cooking and baking. Talking
about food and telling stories of our cooking adventures is part of
our normal conversations.
Then in 2010 I decided to break the
cycle of making the same recipes again and again by trying twelve new
recipes I've never before made. I've repeated this twelve new recipe
goal every year since. In 2013, I chose to blog about these twelve
new recipes as well as all the others I've tried over the years.
